TOBOGGANING
You walk up to Salantinas for about 45 minutes through snow-covered forests. From there you can go on a beautiful moonlight ride directly to Hotel Bündnerhof Samnaun.
You can go tobogganing alone or with a guide from Samnaun Tourism - please note that you have to strictly observe the local safety regulations. Hotel bündnerhof cannot be held responsible for any damage.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING IN SAMNAUN
Ski runs for all levels of difficulty
Slide on your cross-country skis across the runs of Samnaun and enjoy the snow in the nordic way - whether classic or skating. Cross-country skiing belongs to the most popular winter sports and is a fountain of youth for everyone. There is hardly another sport which strengthenes and at teh same time protects your muscles and joints.
Whether you are a beginner or pro - there are a cross-country ski run and an exercise loop waiting for you.

Cross-country ski runs
Laret Run - Ice-Skating Rink "L1"
Skating and classic run
Start: Samnaun Laret; Chasa Val Bella (parallel to the winter walking trail W3)
Destination: Ice-skating rink Clis da Ravaisch and Musella lift
Length: 5 km
Access: Samnaun-Dorf, at the ice-skating rink (for skater also at the Musella lift in Samnaun-Dorf), Samnaun Ravaisch at Haus Sprecher, above Plan and Samnaun Laret at Haus Chasa Val Bella
Description: The run leads to the sunny side of the valley parallel to the walking trail "Samnaun Laret - Clis da Ravaisch" at the end of the village towards Samnaun-Dorf. Above Plan you can take a side trip to Tschischanader. Otherwise the run leads you further towards skating rink. Skater can continue on the piste to the Musella lift in Samnaun-Dorf .Exercise Loop Pra Grond "L2"

Martina Run - Scuol with connection to the run of the lower Engadin
Start: Martina, beginning of the village
Destination: Scuol - Serras
Length: 17 km

Snowboarden in the Silvretta Arena
Snowboarding up to the point of exhaustion - it's possible given the endless possibilitioes in the Silvretta-Arena. Countless piste variants, deep powder snow areas or funparks make the snowboarder's heart beat faster and faster. On the Alp Trider Saddle the Obstacle Parc offers best conditions for big jumps and cool runs.
Below the Idjoch there is one of the biggest funparks of Europe. Or glide down the extra wide pistes.
ICE SPORTS AROUND THE BÜNDNERHOF SAMNAUN
Enjoy the many posssibilities on the natural ice-rink "Clis da Ravaisch" between Samnaun Dorf and Samnaun-Ravaisch.
Ice-Skating:
Carve your curves into the ice or how about a double loop jump? You can rent the necessary equipment directly at the rink.
Ice Hockey:
Try to do it like the big cracks and chase the black puck. 2 goals and equipment for rent are available at any times.
Ice-Stick Shooting:
Let the ice sticks shoot down one of the 4 alleys to the tee and celebrate your great swing. The one who can collect the most points wins. Great fun, especially for groups.
SNOWSHOEING
Get to know the Samnauntal at its best on a leisurely walking-tour. Breathe in the fresh air and experience pure relaxation. There is a total of six different routes in the Samnauntal that you can explore also on your own. You can rent the necessary equipment at the sport stores of Samnaun. If you prefer to be in agroup you can also join a guided tour included in the week programme.

Snow shoe trails
Snowshoe Trail ST1
Start: Samnaun Dorf at Haus Bristol, 1,840 m above sea level
Destination: Samnaun Ravaisch above valley station, 1,750 m above sea level
Walking time: ca. 1 hour
You walk through the Val Motnaida across snow-covered fields with a view of the Piz Motnair. You continue through a beautiful larch forest until you get to the valley station of the cable car.Snowshoe Trail ST2
Start and Destination: Samnaun Dorf behind Apart Walserhof, 1,840 m above sea level
Walking time: ca. 1 hour
Behind the parking lot towards Zeblas until you get to the bridge Muttals, then go across the stream and towards Chompradont. Via a circuit loop you get back to your starting point.Snowshoe Trail ST3
Start and Destination: Samnaun Ravaisch, 1,800 m above sea level
Walking time: ca. 2,5 hours
This demanding circuit tour leads you upt ot the Che d'Mot with panorama view of the 5 villages in the Samnauntal. One trail fleads you back to Samnaun Ravaisch on the same route, the other trail continues to trail 4 and back to Samnaun Ravaisch.Snowshoe Trail ST4
Start: Samnaun Ravaisch, 1,750 m above sea level
Destination: Samnaun Laret at the Trua bridge, 1,695 m above sea level
Walking time: ca. 1 hour
The trail starts below the valley raod at Apartment Tirana and takes you along the Schergen stream to Samnaun Laret, near the alpine dairy. From there the Samnaun bus can take you back to your starting point.Snowshoe Trail ST5
Start: Samnaun Laret, 1,831 m above sea level
Destination: Tschoccas, 1,860 m above sea level
Walking time: ca. 1 hour
In a moderate increase you put half of the walking-tour behind you and reach a point where the downhill run Laret crosses this route. From there you walk at a leisurely pace to your destination.Snowshoe Trail ST6
Start: Alp Trida saddle, 2,500 m above sea level
Destination: Hüttenboden, 2,458 m above sea level
Walking Time: ca. 4 hours
This route is only accessible when you take a ride on the cable car. Please consider the operation times! Across deeply snow-covered alp meadows you walk towards Zeblas. After about 1,5 hours take a left turn and continue towards Pendlas to enjoy the fantastic view of the Samnaun mountains. Then back to Hüttenboden.
